At their core, Jombi are a psychedelic rock band. They have gained a reputation for fusing elements close to and outside of their retro rock sound such as jam, jazz fusion, progressive rock, indie, country, and blues.
With each member hailing from the School of Rock branch in Memphis, the root of their unmatched chemistry and live prowess spans slightly under a decade. After their formation in April 2021, they burst onto the summer scene as a live band with a heavy dose of improvisation and intricate songwriting, and quickly garnered a devoted local fanbase.
Having impressive turnout for shows at revered Memphis venues such as Railgarten and B-Side, their next goal is the Southern region.
Jombi released their debut album Jombi Presents… in May 2022 which included their biggest hits “Stay Dry” and “Dread”, and the 10-minute epic “Party Time”.
Their new EP, “Silent I Will Stay”, is out now.
